His Karelian connection

Under duress of time and great trepidation , but thrilled at lack of ink, paper and the lack of light both natural and artificial; the blog begins, the connection as read, implies a Finnish element, sharing thoughts with my learned nordic colleague , and in turn his various viewers, i tried to raise my concerns regarding fairness, freedom, sharing, content, intellectual property etc. i.e, just what, and how much of, do you want to let fly? Being in posession of various of his documents of the literary variety, I asked him how he would feel if someone (not me of course), began to publish the potentially pirated pieces as 'blog'? Let that as an overture, suffice to illustrate that element of trepidation and concern felt no doubt by many virgin webstars in our predicament as neophytes in the electronic ether. Myself included, ......however our interlocutor, tutor , guide in these new avenues of publication , informs us through a discussion roughly centred on democracy, the democratic (we hope ) nature of the internet. Wasn't that the whole point? Equal access, opportunity for all regardless of where on the planet the writer is based, who that individual is , does , thinks, etc..' in any case his Karelian connection felt it just had to be one of the ways to go , something to ponder , pursue , promulgate. And so we begin these few first tentative steps, as if by candlelight in a drear october , november the season of darkness upon us all provoking that dash in late afternoon to not, (cendrillon like) escape the ball before midnight, no , but to get on bikes and be in by the fire before nightfall period, for no greater reason than sake of ease, warmth sustenance and a less fraught evening ahead. Practicalities, no fire lit by a certain hour? Your tea is then late, and your bed not warm until midnight , not to mention, the rising damp and stealthy mists that steal across Addesta in the mopey gloaming... and this year as they began unspeakably early in late July, when normally mid August is the norm, ... reader i shopped,... how else can we make a break in the text, teatime and lighting up time looming, on our bikes , heading west....til next installment a bhalaich
